Hello World,
I have been told that I am in one of the largest Ceramics classes in Europe. This is a big responsibility but I am really enjoying the experience. I am working on an object at the moment, but I should really explain the name of this blog first. I refuse to take part in the war between the artist (ceramicist) v. craftsperson (potter). with this in mind I have merged them both to make a new word, one which explains why I will be trying to make individual one-off pieces to experiment and seek my muse, but also production pieces as I love the idea that art can bring joy to anyone, anywhere, and doesn't have to cost the earth!
There is also talk of becoming part of a new movement in ceramics, but time will tell! Anyway, I'm going to finish this bit now and see what else I can do now.........
I can't believe u've written somethng already. Isn't that cheating????
